The short version
Keep at least €10,000 in the linked current account when requesting activation and when the owner approves. Activation does not charge, debit, hold or reserve any funds.
1. Check the name and linked account
Open Cards in your workspace. The card shows the client’s profile name, and the activation panel identifies the linked account. If the name or account is wrong, ask your owner to review the profile or card setup before continuing.
The minimum applies to the linked current account—not the combined total of all your accounts. For example, €6,000 in one account and €4,000 in another does not satisfy a €10,000 minimum on the linked account. If no current account is linked, the owner must correct that setup first.
2. Understand the €10,000 minimum
The linked current account must have a recorded balance of at least €10,000. The activation panel shows the balance, the minimum and any amount still needed. The activation request is unavailable until the requirement is met.
This is not an activation fee or a payment instruction. Activation does not debit, hold or reserve the €10,000. These are internal workspace records, not a request to send external funds to a bank account, wallet or third party.
3. Request activation and wait for review
Once eligible, choose Request activation. The card enters a pending-activation state while the owner reviews the request. A pending request is not an active card, and submitting the request more than once is not necessary.
The owner checks the balance again at approval. If the linked account has fallen below €10,000, activation cannot be completed until the requirement is met. An owner can also activate an eligible client card directly through the owner controls. The owner’s own card is exempt from the client activation minimum.
4. Understand what changes afterward
Once activated, the card stays activated if the linked balance later falls below €10,000. The threshold is an activation requirement, not a permanent minimum-balance rule. Available funds, limits and card controls still apply to later card activity.
Activation and freezing are separate states. An activated card can still be frozen, and unfreezing an inactive card does not activate it. If the card cannot be used inside the workspace, check its state and controls with the owner.
This is a HARMONIIE workspace card. It is not connected to an external card network, and activation does not create a physical card or the ability to make purchases through outside merchants.
